The KBS black lightning gloves are actually from Atlantic Safety Products.

I spent years working with nasty chemicals (circuit board etching and photo masking) without gloves (or any other safety gear), and playing with fiberglass resins at home. I'm now a firm believer in the right gloves for the job.

These are good as they have a mesh back on them and let your hands breath.

I find that style of rubberised cotton gloves aren't much chop for greasy/ oily work, as it seeps in through the back. They are great for other work though.

I need to find where to get some of those mechanic type disposables, the normal latex ones tear too easy.

you'd be surprised how far a hose blank can travel up a fuel line with 100+psi behind it

+1 on good ppe - skin conditions dont look very fun. That said i only ever wear gloves around avtur, grease and maybe when im swimming in hyd oil (prop changes etc), engine oil and small amounts of hyd oil often arent practical to wear gloves if your in a hurry.

Yeh I use gloves, not so much now that I don't work on oily dirty shit as much at work, but still do at home.

It can be bad in summer, but your hands end up super clean swimming in sweat, so not so bad...is that gay?

Get some of the black ones I posted. I can't wear vinyl or nitrile gloves as my hands are soaked in 30 seconds. The black ones I can wear for maybe half an hour.

i don't wear gloves, not even when working with skydrol, mek, or even mastinox.

not by choice, though, but cause the fuckers at work are too cheap/lazy/slow/incompetent to have a constant stock of rubber gloves.
