Whats a roady go for these days? $50, $70?

Why would the price go to $200 or $250? Because the mechanic has to spend 5 minutes taking photos of shit that he is supposed to write down anyway.

Cloud computing? wtf? Take a photo, print it out. Dont have a printer? Take you memory stick to Kmart and print the pictures. Who is operating a business these days without a computer capable of printing a picture? Cost of toner / ink got you down, dont stress, your making a extra $200 for 5 minutes work, theres a bit of fat there.

Worried thieves may steal your picture collection of odometer readings and photos of warped discs? Take them home?

If its too hard, then dont do RWC inspections.

You don't even have to print the pics, just store them.

Statistically speaking I don't think roadworthy inspections make any real world difference to road safety.

          Here is the rub.

A canary is now a fine plus $250 for the RWC even if the car is fine.

There has always been a fine for driving an unroadworthy vehicle, weather you get one or not depends on the mood of the copper.

Still havent seen any proof that RWC's are now going to cost $250. Unless a guy ringing a radio station with a rumour is now accepted as fact?

whats the rule with the tinted window? jap cars imported sometimes have privacy glass on the rear 1/4 glass + rear window

or is it only pass+driver window that need to have a low tint level?
