The American's go nuts over these Coupes so I reckon he has a good chance of getting good money for it.
Don't get me wrong. I think it looks great ( except for the bonnet pins ) and has obviously had a LOT of time, effort and talent thrown at it.
IF he has purposely built it for the US market and it plays out well, then good luck to him ( much bigger market over there ) and I guess their road laws will give him much more chance to drive the thing in anger ( if he's not worried about smashing the sills or getting stone chips ).
Cars are meant to be driven. Properly driven. Sideways, redlined, rubber deposits coating wheelarches, creating white plumes of smoke up the street driven. NOT crawling around in first gear showing off like a limp wristed, cashed up pussy.
I'm not saying that is what he is.The World's Best Pest Control in Brisbane, at PF mates rates, PM me.
when all else fails, hit it harder.

With the attention to detail this bloke has and level of effort he puts into projects I'm pretty sure he'd be able to build a better drag/circuit/street car than 95% of the muppets on PF if that was his objective. But his objective was to build a successful show car, an objective he has clearly achieved.
The car isn't my cup of tea either, but I'm pretty sure if this bloke had rocks in his head and wanted to build an old Italian track car he'd do a far better job of it than me.
So good luck to him.

That Munro gives me me wood so hard a cat couldn't scratch away, and like it much more then Adams XC.Originally posted by brasher View PostI love it, this car also got my balls tingling at Motorex.

I get what you are saying and agree with the whole bonnet pins thing but my point is all the haters just assumed it will be a trailer queen show only car....but how many of you know know this for sure?Originally posted by lickmyleftone View PostDon't get me wrong. It's on air bags so it would be able to achieve standard/legal ride height, so that won't effect the driving.
When people see a elite level show car they just assume it never sees road use.
In some cases that's true but I reckon people would be surprised how often these cars get out on the road and get driven hard.
There's always the risk of the nicely painted under carriage getting chipped but that's nothing a bit of touch up paint or air brushing won't fix. :D
So I highly doubt this thing will get babied./ --------------- \

There are better cars than that in OZ but that car was destined to win at Motorex the moment it was on the cover of street machine when it was half built.
shows and awards are not simply about points on a score sheet but the hype around the car and the antisipation...
He just won top street machine of all time with the green car, that wasn't that good either and everyone built up the un-veiling of this car, so the writing was on the wall befor the covers had even come off the car in my opinion.
engine bay is way too busy!!!
panel gaps are not consistant!!!
interior is simple but you can make anything look simple if you remove half the stuff... like seatbelts and a back seat!!!
not the best as far as I am concerned
