However we can use physics and evidence to effectively dismiss the alien theory -
There's no real evidence of aliens ever visiting us in recent or times past.
We have not seen any intelligent or artificial radio or optical signals from any other start anywhere.
We know it takes a colossal amount of energy to travel from start to star at sub-light speeds in any reasonable amount of time but we have not seen any such expenditure of energy entering our local area. If they have figured out how to make FTL work, we still haven't seen any evidence in the way of light echoes or Cherenkov radiation in our local area.
