You can get an St215 Auto in that price range, be careful though quite a few people have been burned by cheap ones. Not hugely cheap to maintain because everything is a c*nt of a job and involves plenty of labour. If you are doing stuff yourself not as expensive but you'll probably want to kill someone at some stage:p. That said I fucking love mine, awesome times chopping randoms who have no idea what it is. Standard the suspension is pretty soft and the ride height is close to a Forester though.

Theres lots in the toyota range because everyone is after a manual. You will get a lot of auto TT soarer for 10k, chasers are easy to find at that price and with a little bit more $ could squeeze into a mk4.

There is a shitload to choose from, really depends on personal taste.
