the first one will be cramped to the shithouse. if your taller than 5ft4" its a struggle to live with.

the 2nd one, being a grinner, will have the powerhouse 1.8L motor

gearbox failure is the trans cooler cracking internally and feeding coolant through the trans .

My mate was aware of this. He measured 21psi on the water, pulled the cap off, weakened the spring and put it back on the bottle. Works fine.

After looking at literally every coon ute in SEQ + a number of commodores, I learnt that Utes generally get treated like shit and most of them are piles of puss.
Eventually found a 2002 AU III Factory EGAS auto style side for $5800, spotless inside and very tidy outside, was getting pretty over it at one point, but very satisfied with the end result.
