Ok, got a bunch of old copper cable from an office fit out demolish I did the other day, who is the hotness in taking it to in East Melbs?

I use southern cross metal recyclers. it's in the west, but I know they'll pick up substantial amounts. we had an old vending machine hanging around at work which they came to pick up.

Yeah, its not enough to warrant a pickup. Just enough to warrant dropping off somewhere and getting a few bucks that i can slip in the coffers of the NFP that we did the work for.

There is one in mitcham, heatherdale road. Others in bayswater, Canterbury road.

Yeah depends how far east you are. I use PF metals in Campbellfield, they are pretty good and it's better to ring a few places before going in to make sure you have a good price locked in.

Be prepared to be looked at like you are a criminal though if you have copper wire to hand in. You will get a better rate if it's stripped of the insulation. You will most likely need to provide ID, maybe even an abn number.
