Not anymore apparently. They were still producing the long wheelbase Bakkies up until a few years ago but it was mentioned on Datsun1200.com awhile ago that they ceased production.

My mate has a VL berlina in original condition. Done 120000k and is pretty much immaculate. He has had people tell him he will get up to 20k for it. I told him list it at $10 k and be prepared to drop the price. He will probably list it at $15k and wonder why no one has called him in 12 mths time.

I reckon half the time... they put a rediculous figure on them; but they know it will never sell at that price...

Stuff is 'always for sale, at the right money' so they put 'make it worth my while' prices on stuff on the off-chance some richer-than-smart retard will decide they need that car and the stupendous price is totally ok.

Note for the players at home: this has come back to bite a friend recently - her dad posted a car of his for sale at a 'make it worth my while' price... and off course it had not sold. But then he passed away in an untimely/unexpected manner. So now the executor of the estate, his new(er) wife thinks that is the value, and now it is expected my friend would pay that amount as she wants to buy the car.
