    Supercar drive days

So has anyone done one of those super car drive days?
I been thinking that i most likely wont get to own a Lambo or Aston Martin in the near future but id love to have a drive of one.
Not really interested in the ones where you do like 5 laps of a race track or get a 10 minute drive, but more the ones where you get to drive somewhere. Maybe try a few different cars etc.

    Anyone done one?
Any good value ones? or is it waste of money

They start at Rozelle and either run South down through the National Park or North up the Old Pac to have lunch at the Trackside Cafe at Gosford

I've done the one Southo linked too. Fucking. Awesome.

      Did the nasho one.
Drove bright orange Lambo out of Sydney in peak hour (against traffic thank god!)
Drove r35 from Audley weir to Stanwell tops
Lotus Elise to Wollongong and back to Austinmer
      Ferrari California to Audley
Aston vantage back in to Sydney

      Highlights:
Lambo in traffic and feeling the eyes on you. Gassing it through ED and airport tunnel was cool
Fez back through Nasho with no traffic holding us up was fucking sublime. Like holy shit.
Aston semi auto is a piece of shit like nothing else I have experienced. That said, gassing it through the airport tunnel, then ED and finally cross city....aural delight. One of the cars I flew past in the tunnel said that was the best noise they have ever heard.

They just started doing night drives up to palm beach as well. I think that would be epic!!

Keep an eye on the deal and voucher web sites, they sometimes throw 50% off deals up. Also keep an eye on their Facebook page, they'll throw up last minute prices if people pull out last minutes

Ill definitely be doing it again!!

I'm waiting for one to come up where I can drive them at a private track. I want to be able to go hard and enjoy hearing them rev out etc. Did you find it frustrating with them trying to limit how quick you could go on public roads?

I don't think that Sports Car World Rentals will be doing any more general days at "The Farm" - the wear and tear on the cars and the costs makes it not worthwhile for them.
From my last discussions with them - they will be sticking to the Road touring events and the odd day at Wakefield with the Lotus and Lambo track car they were buying

We did a corporate day at the farm, and was awesome!!!

F430, R35, Vantage, EVO 9 Tarmac Car, Elise, and Gallardo...

All fanged flat out on the private track, max speed with the quicker cars around 200 clicks...was great fun

We weren't limited in the slightest

You wouldn't want to bin one though. $10k excess !!!

A friend was looking at doing one until they found out that. Yes it is unlikely, but I'd prefer not to have to worry about it.

I know the guys that run the place and they occasionally run specials - as AJC13B said - keep an eye on the daily deal sites (Spreets, Scoopon, Groupon, Cudo etc) as they come up every now and again.
sign up to www.allthedeals.com.au and get them all in one email.

These are usually on the days when they have very few bookings and need to fill spaces to take a full compliment of vehicles, it doesn't happen often as they are pretty full up most days.

Uwish - $1000 for 2 people inc lunch for Nasho one. $1500 for Palm beach one with dinner

grumpy - Guy leading my day said only one person had ever binned a car and that was 'just' hitting a plastic road marker. Still it was a $11k panel and paint on a f430. Seems every other person has realized that notching it back and not driving the total ring out of it is a good idea....

Not sure I would waste the $$$ to drive a Fezza though
