Quick Question for the IPRA guys

I had a look at the regs in regards to floorpan modifications. If I have a hatchback and want to remove the spare wheel well, is this permissable? I was thinking not as it only outlines the drivers seat area due to seat mounting.

    Nup, verboten.

Could be slightly massaged, but not removed.

Clearancing with a American screw driver only.

2.5 The entire vehicle must remain unmodified except for specific freedoms allowed in these regulations and modifications necessary to comply with “General Requirements for Cars and Drivers”.

1.13 Minor reshaping: Reshaping of existing material. This excludes the addition, replacement or removal of material and must not result in a loss of integrity of the panel.

then it becomes the word of scrutineer and eligibilty officer if said "reshaping" has caused the panel to lose its integrity. then that the panel hasn't been modified. which think by heating and hammering it up has become a modification. IMOI/O

"Minor reshaping" is only allowed if required for clearance (and only enough to get that clearance, no more) to fit engines/gearboxes etc. If its just because you want a flat floor then its not allowed.
