Im toying with the idea of overhauling the fuel system for the Supra before it gets remapped. Figured that pump E85 is now more available here in Adelaide and some are getting good results with it.
Probably looking to support up to 400rwkw. I can get some 120cc Lucas peak and hold injectors at a fairly good price with a twin feed fuel rail to suit the 1JZ. Has anyone heard of or used Lucas before? ive been told they are the same as Bosch but im not sure of the validity.
Generally I was thinking I would go with twin Bosch external pumps (044 is the external?)
Fuel rail and injectors as above
Surge tank
All associated lines and fittings.
Is it recommended to go to teflon lines? The current fuel lines are factory 20+ yrs old. Also what size surge tank should I be looking for and where to purchase from?
The fuel pumps are around the 200 mark off ebay which isnt too bad. then id need some sort of lift pump in tank. A walbro would probably do.
Any ideas/opinons/advice is appreciated.
cheers
