Milwalkee here from some cheap guy in Geelong on eBay. Cops a flogging, heavily built and works GREAT! Very strong. Highly recommended.

The new WURTH is a rebadged Milwalkee. Identical but costs an extra $250.

Local 4x4 shop has Hitachi and swears by them. Couple of mates at the track have Snap On. All good things but seem light by comparison and I would not swap them for the Milwalkee.

p.s. Dewalt and most others are made in China now AFAik

How big is big? Biggest thing I'd imagine needing it for is crank pulley bolts or maybe some of the stiffer suspension bolts.

Also, LOL at the background music in this video. WTF.
One I posted has way more balls than that, spins up twice as fast and takes 1/2 the hits to take it off.

Ryobi hex drive 170Nm at bunnings for a decent price. Not sure if that'll be quite powerful enough. Might have to go for a square drive one. Anyone used one of these? Main concern is how reliable those quoted torque figures are. I do my wheel nuts up to 120Nm so in theory I have heaps of headroom. But in theory, communism works.

So the li ion ones from reputable manufacturers are between $500 and $1000 and you have a feeling the $50 supercheap one is going to be junk?

You are without doubt one of the smartest cunts in the universe.

At the end of the day if it does the job it does the fucking job, that would probably be a perfect tool to keep in the wife's car should she need it one day.

Excuse me for not sharing your infinite fucking knowlege. Not everyone needs a carbotanium reinforced flux capacitor powered wrench, sometimes the cheap ones work just fine for someone's purposes (bloke recommending the $100 12v one in this very thread is a case in point).

Shooting a guy for simply asking the question is fucking weak man.

Just buy the supercheap one like you always were going to anyway and stop annoying us then.

I'm not going to, it looks like i'll probably spend about $250 on something that suits my purposes. Thanks to doing the right research and asking the right questions.

That's pretty damn good, and looks like it would do less damage to the nuts than a regular rattle gun can. I want something I can use around the house as well tho so i'll go for a cordless one, but that tool is a great find!

This thread makes me want to grab the phone and video removing 6 nuts from the patrol in 10 seconds with the makita.

But that would be fucking gay as Oxy and Dave space docking and would only result in some smartarse grabbing a 2000ftlb pneumatic gun and recording doing same in 4 seconds.

Just buy the real one you wankers.
