So, a car built to no rules based around a retarded concept is slow. Wow.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

i think it has 87% rear weight bias

in that regard you can throw out all conventional suspension thinking

any more info on qualifying times and/or write-ups?

Regardless of whether someone thinks the design is good/bad, its a shame it did so poorly

so are they using brake-steer to get this thing to turn then?

surely 87% rear bias would need this. unless they are planning on doing all the turning under massive braking to load the front tyres up, which sounds very unconventional/bad.

                  Oo___oO

Its a Aston/Prodrive tub. Hence why there is an offset driver position. They did this to save on development costs so they could concentrate on other design issues.

There are quite a few cars in this year's race that started off as an Aston chassis.

29th out of 56ish entries isnt too bad i reckon. and its a brand new car, and something far from normal.. so you cant expect miracles.

im not saying its gonna work, or not work.. but give the poor fuckers a chance at development

How did it compete against others in its class..? mid field is pretty good for such a strange concept.

They ran into problems with qualifying and weren't allowed to go back out. 29th ain't bad, this thing isn't going for the outright win.

its not competing in any class

its just a demo car and theyre only on the good graces of the FIA and the fact that everyone is just curious how they would go
