Rumours eh. They are good things those rumours, the blokes who start them always know more than the engineers and people involved. Accolades to the guys involved in this should be all that is forthcoming but there are a group of people who don't like innovation in motor sport for some reason. Anyone who has been truly innovative has been ridiculed and criticised as a rule, witness attempts in the past such as the six wheel Tyrell, The Chapparell fan car etc.

The car has been set a time by the ACO. (Im not sure what the time is-could be a 3:42 which would place it somewhere mid LMP2). Apparently in a straightline its faster then most of the LMP2 class if not the fastest. The car might not be the fastest but with tires that have less wear and a much smaller engine then the other LMP2 it'll pit less and staying out of the pits at Le Mans is half the battle.Originally posted by Gammaboy View PostNo, I'm asking why it's not as fast as a lmp2. finishing would be huge, personally i am not sure they have enough development behind them to finish the 24hr
