Yep, hope the car does alright, it looks insane.

Just want to point out that the engine isn't really a modded MR16DDT, unless you count a new, completely different billet aluminium block, mains etc. as mods.

        Reminds me of this.

Good on them and hope they get good feedback out of the race.

According to the Michelin Press Conference the other day, they are aiming for more than 10 stints on one set of tyres for the delta Wing. Michelin also announced their new Hybrid Tyre - an intermediate tyre with no grooves. Basically, it's a slick that works on a damp track. No, they didn't say how the tyre disperses water yet.

I thought radio lemans said it was only the front that they got those stupidly long stints out of, the rears were only 3x IIRC

Could've been the fronts only. They don't do a lot of work. Be interesting steering it in the wet. I only managed to see it for one lap in the warmup this morning.

                That video is cool.

I am not convinced but I love that they are even on the same page performance wise.

                            Looks like a deliberate swipe...

Maybe it was a direct order by Toyota to get back at Nissan for stealing their Hiace design with the NV350 Caravan?

very much doubt it would be intentional.

Damn shame though, I think everyone was enjoying the lunacy of the Deltiwang.

What the fuck was that move!

I enjoyed this thread and the idea/concept of the DeltaWang.

                                Fuck Toyota.
