    That's parts and labor?

While were on the Ford subject why do this build with 427 (351 W based) Ford racing crate motors at $12k plus delivery?

*Not trying to be an arse with that question.

XEs didn't come factory with 351w so it's a bit hard to make it look factory. Why not just put a chev in it cheaper again?

Clevos are a bit of a cult thing. Not the worlds greatest engine but they do make good power with a lot of standard parts (like the heads). And they sound cool

284rwkw (383rwhp) on Bruce Heinrich's dyno with a tiny 2.25" twin system on pump 98 - it's getting bigger pipes in a bit.

              Dyno sheet this arvo hopefully

You're a credit to this forum and to your trade (craft? art?). A great read as always, although more pics would be a bonus.

This would make a sweet tattoo :D just make sure there's room to change swap to swapped when the time comes

It'll go 300+rwkw with the twin 3" & X pipe setup it's getting in a couple of months, I'll post up the results of that.
Currently making around 470hp at the fly (top loader & 9")

Got some pics of the heads, before & after porting pics, porting left off the carbide:

                          Nice work TK.

Mine went on the dyno today and didn't blow up.

What did you do to the oil pump?

What is the price comparison between getting a set of 2V heads up to scratch compared to getting a pair of CHI heads?
Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the end of the world?

Oil pump - ground a few bits, shimmed a bit.

Iron v's CHI price, dunno, what's a set of ready to run CHI's worth?

I think the CHI heads are now about $2500 - $3000 depending on how you spec them. When I got mine I was only recently married and I told her that I needed a new set of heads for the coupe and that they would cost about 2. Much to my surpise she had no objections to the purchase at all. It wasn't until much later that I found out why she had no objections - it was because she thought I meant $200 not $2000.

I will be intereted to see the power difference with the larger exhaust as I still have tri-ys and a twin 2 1/4 exhaust sytem on mine, but perhaps I'm getting old as I rather like that it isn't very loud.
