They've been flogging them off for $39,990 for at least the last couple of weeks. Apparently $39,990 is the best they can do- unless you talk to a melbourne dealership who will do an auto with a handful of options for about $43k drive away. Couldn't be fucked driving down there though so don't even know why I bothered asking... it just made me feel worse about getting fleeced by the local guys.Originally posted by rj_astra View PostFrom SMH
Holden Colorado $39,990 Driveaway
The new model has only just gone on sale but is already getting big price cuts. Pick up the Colorado LT crew-cab for $39,990 drive-away — a huge saving on the regular asking price of $45,490 plus on-road costs.

GdayOriginally posted by rxfc3s View PostNot sure what the other Japanese commercial vehicles are like but personally, I wouldn't recommend a Triton. It will be either be a complete shit box with everything under the sun wrong with it or it will be great.
Defiantely would not recommend a 2x4 low power, they are gutless as fuck and wouldn't pull the skirt off your sister.
A few things I've witnessed daily
- carbon blocked inlet manifolds
- rear spring squeak
- srs electrical issues
- engine surging issues
- damper clutch shudder issues
- fucked injectors
- moisture contamination in the electrical connectors causing corrosion on the pin terminals which leads to high resistance readings and forever getting the engine light on
- turbo leaks
just to name a few issues

Do you know how to stop the surging,i know a guy with one with a few dramas, this is one of them and mitsubishi has no idea how to fix it.

I had the surging problem with my Tirton which has since been fixed by the dealer. I posted this on another forum about it.Originally posted by gbanger View PostGday

I had this very issue with with my 2009 2.5L diesel. It surged just like yours but was 'minor' and intermittent, it just wouldn't do it when I took it to the dealer. At the 60k service it seemed fine that day but after that it was really bad between 2000 and 2500rpm.
Anyway I took it back to the dealer and they explained that at the 60k service the fuel filter is changed. The filter is smaller than the position it sits in and expands to fit after running the engine for 20sec to a minute due to diesel flow. Unfortunately that means unfiltered fuel gets past for at least 20sec maybe more. Then 'crap' from the tank gets stuck in the suction control valve which causes the surging.
My dealer replaced the suction control valve and it has been like new. 4-5h to replace it tho, decent size job!
