It had a tunit.. They work pretty good on them..

be cool if they did a nistune for them, chips seem like such a gamble if you don't do the research.

Yeh they are hit and miss, they work gold on hilux and navara and not great on Mazda 6 etc,

Hence why I want to remap the ecu not use a chip but I may have to use a chip to start with until someone hacks it for me

got som tuning stuff sorted, going to try my own stuff on this i think..will have it sorted this week i hope, if it no work then i have found a chip that plugs into the injectors and map sensor and DOES NOT raise the fuel pressure..

Cause apparently its dodgy and fucks injectors and pumps...

Did the 3in turbo back exhaust on it today and fitted the tow bar.. Goes heaps better and low and mid throttle, egr delete will help that out even more which ill fuck with tomorrow,

What was the standard exhaust like? Mine has the DPF/cat just aft of the downpipe then nothing until the rear muffler. Would be interested if a decent exhaust would wake mine up, afaik no one was done an exhaust on a Picasso Hdi.

Just had a cat at the back of the turbo, no sensors or anything...

Does it have a DPF?
How does the EGR delete help performance? Any negs to deleting it?

The EGR pumps dirty air into the intake, thus reducing the amount of oxygen available. More oxygen makes more power

No dpf on the Colorado... Just a normal ceramic cat..

Yep egr recirculates exhaust gas through the motor at part throttle etc.. Pissing it off is suppose to make a lot of difference..

any chance of some figures before and after for just the ERG delete, will be interesting to see how much of a difference it makes

I know they use EGR on modern petrol cars to improve part throttle emissions and economy. Modern turbo petrol seems even more important. Diesels - have no idea.
