    yep i will do a power run first up tomorrow to see the difference from the exhaust etc.. pretty sure the EGR is closed at WOT, ill check that with the vaccum line on the dyno and see if it closes it... blocking it off may be as simple as unplugging the vacuum line off the soloniod..

      no EGR at full throttle, recycles on trailing throttle& at idle and tapers off as load increases

      strange if it has a vac line to the EGR valve as most late model diesel stuff runs an electric motor for the EGR valve on the hot side,and another on the EGR blend plate in or near the intake manifold. correct me if i`m wrong tho,the 2.8 could use a different set up. when i first put the boost gauge in my dmax it was interesting watching the boost rise back to 3 or 4 psi when the blend plate kills the airflow into the engine on trailing throttle,when the turbo is still spun up

        From what I can see it has a port through the head that transfers the gas from exhaust to inlet then a vacuum operated soloniod that opens a plunger and let's the gas in, I'll remove the vacuum line first and log the difference on the Dyno, if if makes a difference ill machine up a blanking plug for the intake manifold

          exhaust made 4rwkw and torque from 480 to 510nm.. so not too bad.. boost sits on 21psi at the start and drops to 19 in the top end..

            blocked off the egr shit.. yes it makes it a little better down low but it threw the engine light... so i need to work on that..

              The Tritons often throw a code with the EGR blanked due to the MAP sensor reading low out of range. I assume the Colorado also has a throttle plate that closes when the EGR operates so it draws the exhaust gases through the EGR valve. The easy fix with the Triton is a hole drilled in the throttle plate. Some need it, some don't.

              Would be interested to see what code it is.

                Yes throttle body , code was low egr flow, you would be correct with the map readings etc, never thought of drilling a hole in the tb tho, once I get the intercepter on ill measure to map readings with egr active and drill the hole so it matches up

                    yes it drove smoother at light throttle with it bypassed... ill play around some more with that later,, not too keen on drilling a hole in a brand new throttle body. i might take the butterfly out and try that..

                          while you`re figuring shit out ,can you sus out what ecu etc is in it, could quite possibly be the same electronics as my dmax and save me many headaches disabling the EGR
                          .

                                tried my cheap way of tuning and it didnt work.. so now will more than likely use the diesel smart module which dosent up the fuel pressre etc..
