        Risking:
        As a former business owner my advice to you is cap the number of cars u work on. Don't take on the job thinking about the dollars. If u are as good as u say ppl will beat a path to your door even if they have to wait. The ones that want it done yesterday are generally the ones u don't want to deal with and don't get too big. There are guys out there that do this and are never out of work. Not just in auto trades but in many others.

                            this is one reason! book one car, complete one car. rinse and repeat. ive done it that way for 6 years now, and i'll be doing it for years to come.

                            not the old book in one car, get lots of bills and overheads, book two more cars to cover bills, complete one car, get more bills, book another two cars, complete one car.... before you know it you've got a carpark and workshop full of cars and no motivation to work on any of them, bills build up, no work going out to cover bills, business goes under and everyone loses. seen it many many times. i can do without that stress!
                            I have never met Brad but have I spoken to him on the phone numerous times. I have recently had him fabricate a custom baffled sump and a catch can for my race car. Although a little hard to contact I found him to be professional and his work top notch. I have read the entire post with interest and I must say that I am very surprised and in fact from my dealings with him totally out of character. I know he is probably overbooked and busy and created a fib to cover another fib. There is certainly no excuse for what has happened in this situation and I am not defending him but I would hate to see him lumped in the same pile as some of the other shit eaters out there who blatantly rip people off. Call me naive but I don't think he is this sort of bloke. He obviously has something serious going on in his life that he needs to address. I really do hope he makes amends because he does do fantastic work of which he takes pride in. It would be a shame to see his business fail due to a situation like this.





                            Under steer is hitting the wall with your front end. Over steer is hitting the wall with your tail end. Horsepower if how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how much of the wall you take with you after you hit it.

                              Although it seems his fab has gotten better.
