they are supposed to fit a morris

but it is apparently real close.. you won't get away with anything more than sock filters. i'll do some searching later to see if anybody had issues with the bonnet?

head and webers.. granted it's not 'cheap' but well worth it for what you get

i never liked the ghetto SC12 setups.

We just flow tested one of those heads. They certainly don't out flow a worked head. Far from it in fact.

Those ghetto sc12 kit are the best bang for buck you can get for a early mini. Mine was the original development one made by me and Ben thirteen years ago and ran a 13.9 at air.

design or just rough casting? did you do a comparison with any of graham russell's crossflows? that would be interesting.

yeah. i just never liked them. hated having to run it through a carby etc etc. they never really look nice either unfortunately, but i guess that's because the are a good budget thing.
i'd rather an out of the box crossflow running smoothly (and with plenty of potential left) than a worked five port tbh.

So what would be a rough price guide for a low spec leyland mini, tired but no too bad, not too much rust and buggered motor? They are asking $1800. And i give no farks for mechanical issues. Hopefully can look at it closely tonight

I would have thought $1800 was pretty bloody cheap for any Mini these days.

My rust free '73 van was $2500, so it is doable. Still running the 1098 it had when I bought it three years ago with no major issues.

$3-3.5k will get you a nice clubman, I'd spend the extra.

have no idea on engine size, pretty sure its manual. have no idea where the rust is but apparently the seats are out of it as the owner was looking for rust. so i guess she found some?

heres the only pic i have of it..

freshish looking paint = loads of rust and bog?

curious to see where the rust is. it's not much difference but the remote change manual box is better than the rod change. have a crawl over it and see what you come up with, looks okay in the pic?
