I'd still be expecting some bogans vs GTS action if either or Nissan or Merc start running away with the series. Seeing as the whole thing is dumbed down anyway, it won't increase my interest in the series much. Will the Mercs and Nissans have to run live axles too? If not, it will give them a handling advantage and, to a certain extent, bring about the end of racing taxis as we know them.
Who cares anyway. The Group A and Group C racing was the best ever seen in Aus and this development will do nothing to bring back a proper race series with real cars.
