G6ET - Standard with LSD or no?

    Yep, XR6 T's LSD is standard (BA,BF, FG), G6ET non LSD. Boss has a G6ET, it still hooks up fine though, BUT lacks that sideways out of the corner in the twisties fun I'd imagine (wouldn't try to do that in the bosses car ). Also G6ET I think have a bit plusher suspension vs the XR6T. Optioned (inside) XR6T may be the go. Or Just chuck a few bushes, maybe springs + bilstiens & sway bars in the G6ET if want to keep it looking a bit more subtle look wise. Ride will still be more plush than the Evo.

        I went 11.7 without an LSD

        Drove no different onthe road before and after LSD. Probably 2 wheeled better before LSD as factory lsd's aren't real tight, I had a diff from a fg gt fitted

                      Yeah, i was surprised how well spoonfags handles with the bilsteins.

                      IMO i would go for the g6et. I figure at some stage you will upgarde the suspension on either and the g6et is a nicer place to be.

                        If you want the classy look, G6ET. If you want the boy racer look, XR6T.

                        I have an XR6T and its fine as a daily, is only marginally firmer riding than a G6ET. It does need Bilsteins (probably coming this December) and could use a tighter diff (TruTrac comes to mind).

                                I should take a photo of the bosses G6ET fail.

                                1. Buy new G6ET
                                2. Spec with XR8 Bonnet AND rear wing
                                3. Fail hard
                                4. Put 'turbo' stickers either side of the bonnet bulge
                                ......

                                Nice to drive though............ well when it's been detailed and isn't full of ciggie ash everywhere, so much fail. haha.


                                Adian...... coming from an Evo you're gonna want source and put a set of the optional Brembo kit up front at least I'd say.
                                ........actually no, I've read BFii's have the bestest stockers, better than brembos, willing to trade once you source said brembos
