That's what I thought the rule was.
Indicate left if taking first exit. As you are exiting the roundabout first.
Going straight. No indicator on approach, indicated left as exiting..
Same goes with taking the third exit, turning right. Still indicate left exiting, after having the right one on through the roundabout.

      Is that correct in qld?

I had the opposite yesterday. Bloke in a Falcoon was turning right, didn't bother to indicate right though, but indicated left when exiting.

If you indicate left when approaching your chosen exit I can't see the point in any other signal. Think about it. I intend staying on the roundabout until I signal left which means I am taking the next exit. Seems to make my intentions 100% clear, no right indicator needed, KISS. Most Brisbane roundabout users seem to do the same from what I see.

lytton road in morningside is a prime candidate for roundabout retardedness, i think it stems from no one knowing what straight ahead is, vs what right is

so the trial of tailgating and acting like posing retards in surfers has come to an end then? any results?

Seems crazy that during peak times a lot of them turn off to allow you to go through whereas non peak it's obviously less safe so they stay on..
Must be some stupid standard because it was not always like that. Understandable where visibility is limited, no sense where it's not.

Wtf! Thats just fucked. You haven't had any near misses from people jumping Infront of you because they didn't know you were turning right? And since nobody indicates left in this state anyway. Wouldn't they just assume you were going straight on when you have zero indicatorfarkin?
