      Actually on that note… get a covernote/insurance organised before you leave. Don't be that dumb cunt that crashes or gets their shit stolen on the way home and says 'but I only just bought it, I don't have insurance yet'

            Insurance now taken care of thanks to Damo and Che at Shannons here in Canberra - much appreciated, gents. Didn't realise the Shannons offering was that good actually, very happy with it.

                I have the RX2 with Shannons, NRMA said they could beat the price, tried under-quoting and failed. When I pointed out the 64 Falcon is on that same policy as well they gave up.

                  lol - when i took my XP falcon with 3 speed auto to sydney (from melb) a year or so ago - took a spare auto box in the boot ....

                  actually did the same again 3 weeks ago on way to sydney . just took the bellhousing off for weight saving.

                  a manual box i am ok with -but 45 year old auto boxes worry me...
