    make sure you do both sides of the check strap. upper and lower. should shut it up.

      Yeah +1 for the wurth hhs products, they've got a special "wicking" solvent that evaporates without bubbling lube back out of the gap! So much better than tac2 in this respect Hhs 2000 for the hinge pins and hhs dry lube for the check strap. Also check for cracks around the hinges in the doorframe /pillar they creak bad too.

          The hhs dry lube (haven't used the 2000) has a special make up of chemicals that makes it stick to things it is ideal for rotating machinery that cant be greased or any other application it is also 10 times thicker then water displacement 40.

          I have heard the term used for penetrating oil: lizzards piss (which is wurth rost off not wd40) so I have named hhs spray lizzards spit(or jizz).

            The fucking thing has creaked non stop since I posted this thread. It hardly registers anymore but when it does, it shits me to tears.
