Perhaps you can all get behind Evo and help out JT....EVO has the potential to be whole lot better than Motor.....again my opinion only but you seemed to be taking Motor in the EVO direction anyway.

Wheels magazine write some great articles but blokes like Robbo have been around for ages, Stahly is very good but Carey is a wanker and wouldn't know a decent car if it drove over him.

Agan I lied the way Motor was going recently even with the back pages with car club forum details and club events

First issue of EVO Australia seemed to look way too much like all the other local magazines, plus too much Commodore bullshit

I'm going to keep buying proper EVO, I like reading about cars we don't get here

All the major O/S magazines are lifting their games. Even the yank ones seem to be improving.
Motortrend's internet presence (under Angus on youtube) seems to be the pick at the moment.

As someone else mentioned... mags can be had very cheap on Zinio.

Current EVO with the McLaren F1 vs other supercars is a great read

Thats the hardest part. No disrespect to Marv, but to the casual reader there are a lot of very cheap overseas publications around. Perhaps buying in more content from overseas is the only way to make it profitable?

hmmmmm "Goebelles" hey, sounds like your on the run from Germany's Central Office for the Investigation of National Socialist Crimes, i like that and this can only mean good things for motors future.

As a long time reader of both mags (yeah yeah) I had felt the mag had dropped off in terms of enjoyable reading in the last year or two. I always held Motor in higher regard to wheels for many years but lately i rate them on par. The interesting and unusual stuff replace with bland same same articles you find in other mags. I do hope it gets some level of uniqueness and enjoyability again.

either way i will continue to read said publications regardless

I'm not just pissed for all the work (and all the care I've taken in it) that I've put in, but for all the hard work and shit conditions my blokes have had to put up with. I know this is the industry I'm in, so I'm sucking it up but jeez it feels like a complete kick in the cunt to get so close.
All I can say is that's fucked mate and I'm sorry to see it happen. Had been enjoying Motor of late, would haev loved to have seen a new and improved version.
