Nah, I've never really posted about it here. Not that anyone would care, but here goes -

I was a workie for Street Machine for 6months before I got a job at their sister magazine SPEED as Staff Writer (that was 10 years ago, as of December, come to think of it!) and worked there from Dec '02 'til the mag was canned in July '05. I did 2.5 years at Auto Salon Magazine with Kula as Associate Editor and then Deputy Editor 'til Dec '07 when i went to work at The Project Group as Editor of Toyota's Driver's World Magazine and a sub/production guy for their press releases and media kits. I left there in Dec '09 to work at ACP again on Australasian Dirt Bike as Chief Sub-Editor (stupid title, seeing as I'm the ONLY sub on the mag). And now, Motor.

Stupid question maybe but what does a sub editor do as opposed to an editor?

sub editors convert dribble to English, editors kick bums & drink piss

Surely cheapracer can be incorporated as a chinese correspondent advising on all things auto and how not to build imaginary cars behind the bamboo curtain?

Didn't he get blacklisted by some manufacturers? I know he wasn't popular when he stacked the Beetle RSi.

                                Can I make a suggestion,

When doing 1/4 mile tests, use half a tank of fuel, just driver (no passenger), set tyre pressures for the strip use the right revs. I would even suggest using a 1/4 mile specialist rather then a journo.

Also please publish the MPH, eg: 13.20 @ 104.8 MPH. The 60 foot time would be a bonus!
