One of my mates dads sold many cars for fuck all that go for big dollars holden gts's torana's vals you name it he had it even old school harleys back in the 70's. Another mate's dad bought a 6pac off the show room had been returned after 3000miles was in build number 1-10 still owns it has had offers of 100k.
A schoolmate's dad was a gingerbeer for Borg Warner in the 60's & 70's, they were very much in bed with Ford & he apparently had a string of 6-monthly company cars such as all the GT's, a Phase III & Lotus Escort ... all of which he could've bought for SFA at the end of each stint if he'd wanted. Couldn't be arsed, why bother?
my uncle bush bashed and cut the roof off 3 split screen kombis.
he gives 0 fucks cause at the time they were worthless
They still are if you're the poor sod who has to drive the prick of a thing ...
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.
i was talking about the lower inner bush ya peanut. i actually havent done a val one yet, done a couple of navara, hilux etc ones. either way same shit.
press torsion bar socket out
get bush out
get inner sleeve out (make sure the new ones come with sleeves, you can get them with or without for valiants)
press socket into bush
press bush into control arm.
not rocket science eh? and if a workshop didnt know how to do it, im sure 2 mins on google will sort that out.
No val bushes are different you peanut trust me on this I have done many. All jap torsion bar lowers are easy well at least for me even val ones are to me. Ever done mazda bravo/ford courier upper inners if you haven't then these stump most like val bushes.
im actually intrigued now. i have a set of arms sitting under the carport that need bushes. i might buy some bushes next week and give it a try myself. cant imagine it being too hard, pressing stuff i just common sense shit.

Yea it is doable for sure but it is at the upper end of the scale of hard for bushes which is not rocket science.
This is a pic see the pin in the bush they need to come out then the bush there is a recess for the torsion bar socket so the bush go's in easy
Fuck you're a retard dyno, I did the bushes on my mates Plymouth Scamp (Dodge Dart/VG Val) and they were a piece of piss, handfull of big sockets and a supercheap 20 tonne press and they were done.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."
