    what do you mean died ?
    one of mine stopped working neither the remote or internal button would work, I disengaged it and then engaged it again and have had 3 years trouble free

      It seems to jam or the door stops half way up. I've disengaged it quite a few times but it now just makes a jamming noise and a bang so I'm reluctant to use it now as it might make it worse.

          That's the Bunnings one? Howmuchisit? Last I looked at Bunnings they were $300-400.

          Cunts. I'm likely to move some time in the next year or two (after being here for 6) and now I feel like I really need one of these.

          I have the narrow issue too - about 50mm but I could move the bracket about 30-40mm away for more room - just more effort and more chance of me fucking it up.

            Give the tracks a spray with silicone spray, run it up and down a few times by hand and get someone to spray the tracks whilst you move it up and down. You might also need to adjust the limits.
