Alfa 75: The good, bad and the ugly please.

go for a 3.0 or 2.0 75 as they have LSD and nice gearbox ratios - the earlier 2.5 had a gtv6 box and open diff (OK, but not as good)
the motronic 3.0 had a bit more power, so is worth a bit extra
the 2.0 is a twinspark with variable valve timing and motronic ecu - very good engine and being lighter on the front end, handles better
don't recommend the 90 unless you are a serious alfa freak (obviously not, yet)
the chassis is a serious piece of kit and can be made very good on road or track - only limited by how much money you want to put into - eg the 2.0's were used as training cars at the ring and the same basic chassis pulled 1g in the early 90s (on early 90s tyres when that was an achievement)
if you want to race it, you can get the 3.0 down to 1100kg without too much trouble and the 2.0 down to around 1000kg
everything that goes wrong is well known now and solutions are on the net - they are a pretty simple thing really
