I thought of upgrading to the ST Focus wagon form our current XR5.
It has had a few good write-ups.

Ford AUS do not think it would sell.

FFS, we know what doesn't sell and you keep trying to do it, so try something else.

True, but the way i see it is this - if your after a "sporting" wagon, you dont exactly have much choice....this one sure ticks a lot of fucking boxes for not much! That said [exluding the VE's because they seem to be everywhere], have "sports" wagons done well in the past? Because i cant really think of many examples...

New RS4 doesn't come in manual.
            also:

            $36,000 vs $160,000.

I applaud this initiative. Keep people who can't drive out if drivers' cars.

I have been considering one of these as a new daily as I need a wagon to cart two dogs around. How did you find your ownership experience? Would you recommend one?

Ours is nearly 3 now and in that time I cannot fault it, hence could not say don't buy one.

The only thing I have had to do is tighten the gas strut bolt on the tailgate as it came loose!?

Mrs loves it, size wise it's fine, $400 of weekly shopping fits in the boot, plenty of handy tie downs and netting in there, we have 2 dogs but they are both small and sit up front not in the boot.

Mrs averages 8's per 100 mainly around the suburbs, I don't drive it often but when I do I get up it a little so fuck her fuel consumption somewhat

I also like the stereo in it.....pumps

its DSG so shifting at slow speeds bit awkward at times compared to normal auto.

This one has full leather and we retro fitted Bluetooth at some ridiculous dealer price ($800?) but the mrs is on it constantly and it works really well.

They look a little dated i guess, but I cannot help but admire it when it drives down the street with the DRLs etc, nice looking car I reckon
