the audis for sure but they have all the gubbins for AWD and the like, that's the way it is

i'd be surprused if the old Octavia wagon all up is more than 1,5 ton and in the class, its fine

its a quasi medium lux car here so its expencted

Some better pics. Had a ride in it between Detailers and Dealers this arvo.

It seems to be very firm almost jittery.

Engine seems tractable, clutch is more early MPS6 - which means heavy, on-off with very narrow take-up point.

Visibility is good, seats are great, but no power adjustment.

Storage is good with clever touches.

Definitely no Brembos, so early reviews are wrong.

Other than that driving it tomorrow...

        Looks good, different

If its proper renaultsport it should be fun, even without the LSD

          no brembos no deal

skoda looks good - might be a bit bigger too, which would help swing the deal with she who likes to cart all manner of crap around in her car...

I have a frog box as well remember! We need more current model French stuff there to remind those who don't bathe that they don't have an auto industry any more.
While the French one is on strike at the moment, or at lunch or something.

In other news the Mrs just flattened the battery in our vRS tonight whilst waiting for soccer training to finish, rings me for help, being the loving husband I suggest, no, the cars in warranty ring roadside assist.

So she rang them....turns out Skoda don't do roadside assist....well there you go.

Probably has 44psi all round OR the pre delivery team didn't remove the transportation blocks from the suspension

First thing I thought, it was pre-delivered on Wednesday, but rode the same as non-premium which hadn't.

                          Will drive it this arvo.

Neither does Toyota, found that out when the driver's seatbelt failed on the Rav4. Roadside assist was one thing I specifically asked about when I bought the Picasso, and requested written confirmation when Sime-Darby took over from Ateco.

So is mine, apparently the Spanish factories have better build quality then the French ones, at least PSA ones.

Unfortunately it's got to be tinted, debadged and the Renault diamonds blacked out plus registered.

But yes build number (worldwide) 422 has been sold. First one in Australia.

It gets a lot of looks driving around, absolutely slaughters the other circa $50K wagons in driving experience and yet isn't harsher or noisier than the "average".
