              Not in Sydney. Cabs are pretty much 90+% still Falcons and Commodores here, out of that the Falcon would definitely be the most common. Especially when you get into Silver Service cabs I'm not really sure what is affordable to replace the G6E/Statesman in the price range yet still take shit loads of bags and seat 3 across the back when required.

                              There were some photos in one of the mags when the AU came out of the original pre-edge proposal which looked more like a Taurus-style blob than the BA look. Looking at an AU now, you can see how it was intended to be a blob (rounded roof, shape of windscreen, door openings etc) then someone at the last minute applied the edge look to it. Apparently it was Jac Nasser and whoever the global styling boss was at the time and they did it over a weekend, but I'm not sure how true that is.
