And as soon as they start cutting sick skids, old Billy will be out chasing them, laying down the lengths of paling fence with 3" nails poking out.
Or just park his truck across the front steaight.
He's been known to do both
if you get this far after reading the above, good on you!
If i make spelling mistakes, syntax errors, or just mss letters in words, it is because i am lw vision/vision impaired.
Dont drive or race no more. Bit of a cunt of a thing.
I cant see what keys my fingers hit when i type.

He climbed over the wall and stood in the middle of the track in front of me once because I was sliding around too much... in the rain in 4AGZE AE86.

According to an FB photo I saw posted - Clarkson or The Stig are out having a skid in the XboxOne Triple 8 Commodore.

Should be in the Warwick Daily Newspaper today.

Good enough for the Shannons Nationals to go to for several years - Formula 3, Radicals, Kerrick Sports Sedans, Production Cars, Saloon Cars, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge all raced there.... the facilities are below par, but the track itself is fine.

Apparently the car they are skidding is one of the first CotF cars, the ones with the circuit diagram liveries. It was wrapped on friday evening before being sent out to Warwick.

That would make sense. The XboxOne car is Triple8's first COTF car too coincidentally.

Yes the facilities are shit, they should upgrade them to the same standard as QR…do we really need italics?

Define "the facilities are shit,", in relation to QR?

Billy? He is WDSCC sorts head honcho, and runs Morg Park, built it up, actually, from a dirt 500 metre oval, to a multiple tracks setup.
The car club up there, over the years had recieved a number of interest free loans from the council, and has paid them all back, within the timeframes stipulated.
They have recieved government grants, not huge dollars involved, planted plenty tree to keep green mobs happy.

It is also is one of the lowest cost to hire race circuits in the counrty!
QR at what, $26,000 a day, or weekend? Lakeside at some $15,000 a day.
Morgan Park depending on degree of involvement by the operating club, from $5000 approx.

Sorry mate I was being sarcastic, pointing out the facilities are no worse than a "national level" track. MP is a great track, just a shame it's a bit of a hike from Brisbane, if it were as far north or west as QR, then MP would be where everyone would go!

I thought QR was sitting at around 10-12k/day, so the 26k figure would surely have to be a weekend.

I'd go, but I can't get a hold of old mate that runs it, to determine when the open days are on, and what licence I need. So it went in the too hard basket. Fuck driving for 4 hours to be told "nah mate, not today, you should have rang".

Yeah WTF? I'm sure Tetley has raised the price, but this is what it was in 2010.

                              Track Hire

                              Lakeside – Mon-Fri
                              -Full Day 9.30am – 4.30pm = $4000
                              - ½ Day 9.30am – 12.30pm or 1pm – 4pm = $2600

                              QR – Mon – Fri
                              - Full Day 8am – 5pm = $5000
                              - ½ Day 8am – 12pm or 1pm – 5pm $3000

                              + for all hire:
                              - insurance $660
                              - Medical $500 or $300 ½ Day
                              - Timing $500 or $300 ½ Day (optional)
The most dangerous risk of all - the risk of spending your life not doing what you want, on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later. - Randy Komisar.

since then I believe he's set up exclusivity rights with certain companies (Champions Ride Days etc)

pretty sure its almost impossible to find a day that isn't already booked.... and the prices will have gone up.
