I used this;
https://www.waxit.com.au/collections...arpro-clearcut
and, much to the surprise of many, this;
https://www.bosch-do-it.com/au/en/di...479-199908.jsp
to get really badly etched water marks out of the bonnet of my car. I also used the yellow Lake Country pad. Needed heaps of pressure on the machine at full speed. Tried several polishes and the Carpro was best.

Agreed hydrate is awesome. Wet MF towel and away you go. A little bit goes a long way too.
I use these exclusively for drying now. Way safer than the "drying towels" on the market. Easier to use and ring out. I'd never go back to a drying towel now.

This is what I use to dry

It's also a Rag Co. towel but I can't remember what they call it. I prefer the lighter GSM towels in general but that's just me. This particular towel looks (and feels) like a shitty rag but it does an awesome job.

To my shock it cuts just as if not better than the 3m/fc400 stuff! Works a lot like the fc400, but leaves massive amounts of dust.

I got 1200 scratches out of fresh clear with it. (shop ran out of 1500/2000 and car had to go). don't use wool pad with it itll be way too aggressive. quick menzerna medium cut then a swirl remover will get it looking good. I haven't used their swirl remover yet and wont until I finish off my bottle of 3m machine polish.
