We used to budget $12k/yr but now live closer to work.

The Q7 TDI uses $1,500/yr if that. 10-11L/100km

Cammed V8 is roughly $1,200/yr as i cycle to work most of the time. 22L/100km.

To go into 'thrifty fuel mode' i'd look at maybe a Mini Cooper diesel. Pretty gay for a bloke but 3.9L/100km. Either that or a something with a V10 that isn't thrifty.

        Challenger, $2200
        Hilux, $250
Bluebird, haven't put petrol in it this year so i'd expect less than $50 31/12
        S15, $500

Around ~$3000 this year over 4 cars.

                  28000km a year x 7.1L/100km....1988L x whatever 98 is worth

                  Somewhere around $3k a year

Old car (Soarer) would be costing over $5k a year

I have no idea, and I don't think I want to know!

At least $50 of 98 a week.... more if I go to Sydney/coast/wherever which is a couple of times a month.

Maybe $3000 or so for about 30,000km in the XR6T (BBQ Juice helps here).

Not sure L/100km being quoted is all that relevant, $dollar$ vs distance is all that matters really?
