Not being an idiot, I consistently hit 13.5l/100k. Boot in, worst average I tend to get is 15.5l/100k.
With riding at the moment though, hah, wow, so far about $650...

My 6.5L 3t Patrol gets 15l per 100km if it's nannied. Costs $280 ish to fill (175L tank) that lasts anywhere from 800km to 1200km. I've done a little over 25,000 km in it this year, so it has cost me in the realm of $7000 this year to run.
The GT fared much better, but it has been off the road for the past 4 months, so I wont/ can't be fucked to include it.Comment

I use a nifty smartphone app called CarMinder to track economy.
LN130 Surf 2-LTE 2.4 turbo diesel, boosted, zorst, EGR delete, 3L head, 33x12.5s, no FWHs averages 12.5L/100 - try to keep it to 2-3 tanks a month so 10,800 to 16,200km/PA /100*12.5*$1.50 = $2025 to $3037
DRZ400SM pipe and jetted averages 4.5L/100 10,000km/PA @$1.60 for 98 = $720
~$2750 - $3760 a year.
Riding to work saves me $12 each time
