it's funny, when a team of fairly prepared people who've done similar things before lets pf know that they'd do a trip around the country, they're frowned upon and told that they'd never make it. yet when some drunks decide to buy a shitheap car and do the same, but in a shitter, with random people driving, and the car's not even moved over 20km, it's all "yeah, we'll piss this in"

The boys are of of reach but it would appear that just before Normanton they came to a t-junction and turned left instead of right. Thet had to go back and that was 20 kms each way. But I am glad they discovered before it was too late it because that would have been a massive detour.

Back on the road. without any communication available from the car I suspect the original road was blocked.. I am checking on the state website

Looks like they got to the junction of the Burke developmental road and the Savannah way, and took the Burke, then realised their mistake so went the Savannah way, then couldn't cross the Flinders, so went the Burke again and again got suck at the Flinders.
