how funny would it be if the cops were watching this and making screenshots every 2 minutes, and writing out fines :D

well, this is in general, so it's for the whole world to read. in which case: yes, they should pay them, and be a good boy!

don't do like me and not pay and fear the wrath of the unpaid fine.. it's horrible.. i never know when they'll finally come round and get my money...

Yeah, that's what I mean, I reckon at the speed limits the average would be lucky to be 90kmh - and I'm not knocking having a go - but seriously - I guess it's all fine when you can stick your car in a box and fuck off back to Euro-land leaving all the anti-hoon press about irresponsible drivers and stupid record attempts behind you.

Who gives a crap that they're speeding in parts. Like every single person on here hasn't done it.

Anyone know how often that map is recording a position. Must only be every half an hour or so as it's straight lining a lot of the highway.

All of NT is 130km/h on the highways so you can comfortably do 140+ once you're 20 mins out of each town or community.

Between Kununurra and Broome again once you get out of town 20 mins you can open it up again. I had cruise control set on 150 and was only catching the occasional boong wagon. I pulled over for a piss and an old landcruiser ute passed me and when I caught him again he was still doing ~150 so it's the pretty normal out there.

Between Norseman and Ceduna they'll have the cruise control set on 200 easy.

Yes, we can all see the GPS logger. Thank-you for your update, though.

Open speed limit [unrestricted] in NT is only on a 200km stretch of the Stuart Highway between Alice Springs & Barrow Springs.

Well into the NT now. This will be a test, in the outback, at dusk, hopefully they don't have any animal encounters.

Average speeds up over 130kph will be helping things along.
