            The adf released some perenties not long ago. They went for about 25k each. Mainly snapped up by dealers who promptly had them on car sales for 45k plus.

                  That is fucking insane, knew there were a heap being auctioned off but thought they would have gone for less than that. $45k is just plain fucking retired, you'd have to be a certain sort of special to cough that much up for some thrashed old isuzu engined defenders.

                  rather spend $10k (at some point...) on the old pootrol. Same old cool anyway.

                      Also, defender is practical awesome, and I had considered it uncool up until now, so if it's suddenly cool... Damnit. The latte sipping crowd seem to be taking it unto themselves.

                      So that opens up 5 spots. The others are still pretty damn cool.

                        like... get rid of the 318i and put an M3 in there... you're not buying a brand new E30 M3 from anywhere....

                                Interesting list ... some of it is kinda cool in straight circles, too.

                                Although the 300CE ... that one I don't get. Too plebian, not character-by-being-totally-shit like the Moke & Landcruiser, it's just generally a good car & good ain't cool.
                                Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.
