Fiat was the work of Gandini I think wasn't it? They are certainly a polarizing design. I spotted a couple of ratty examples in europe last year and I find them quite challenging to like. Lol

Quattroporte though..... always thought it was a stunner. Might get one and put an LSX in it to make it faster and reliable. :p

      No.1 without a doubt

But if I the above wasn't an option, Vanquish!

      THIS!

I agree with a lot of this stuff. My three cents the Alpha 159 sedan is a pretty car.

whilst looking for a picture of a Lancia Beta (nearly bought one... chickened out!) I saw this

there seems to be a modern version, can't remeber seeing it before

here's the Beta... one I was interested in was a deep burgandy

The Beta is a great looking car.

              Boss 302 - 1969.

Does not have a bad angle and has a better front I think than the 1970 year. Notice how it has no scoops on the rear quarter. No flippant styling cues etc. Great lines.

              Mk1 Escort two door.

              A good looking small car.

              Audi RS8.

I expect they would be a nightmare to maintain (ie engine out to fix the aircon condenser) but I think they're a great looking car

Another long hood short back car (ie Mustang, 240Z, RX-7)

I guess I didn't register my disagreeance when someone posted that Jimny a few days back, should just have kept quiet on the Ghia & Cordia too.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

NSU RO80 would have to on the list. One of the most influential designs ever.
                  Chrysler 300 too.

I came here to post this! One day I would like to build a replica/kit version. Great looking car.

I think these look great. Marcos Mantula

                    Modern cars, E85 Z4

And also Toyota 86. Personally I think it is probably the best looking couple available under 100k at the moment.

                              This! (But Biased...)

Back to reality, I endorse a couple of the aforementioned:

                              Pug 406 Coupe
                              VE
TE Magna - such a clean, sharp and well executed design, look at the opposition in 96 or whenever they came out.
NSU R080 - so far ahead of its time, influenced euro aero design for decades (see Audi 100 of '82 for the influence)

                              Back to exotics -

                              Lambo Muira
                              Lancia Stratos
                              Lancia 037 (want)
                              Ford RS200 (huge want)
                              Porsche 917K
                              BMW M1
BMW E30 M3, JPS colours thanks (E46 M3 is also so right as mentioned - just such a muscular stance, without trying hard).
                              67-69 Camaro
                              Sigh...too many to list
