Some cars look great from some angles and fail from others, then there are the cars which a set of wheels and an inch of the ride height makes all the difference...

Favourites for me are;

S15 - wish I still had mine.

AMG SLS - coupe only, beautiful car at any angle.

B7 RS4 is still a favourite in sedan or wagon. The stance with the pumped guards is stunning.


for more standard cars the last few years of Audi A4's can look great in the right colour and the right wheels. Get that wrong and they look plain.

Pity they did that in ugly U.S spec.

+1 on the 406 coupe an 306 being very nice. And the FD, S15 and r34 have aged well. The current crop of BMWs are doing well I like the 508 too. Most other stuff is pretty meh to me.

But how fucking good does this look.



A oddball mention goes to Jimnys. They've been pumping these out since 1998 and yet they still look awesome and fresh, especially the latest face lift ones.

Solid axles back and front and real 4wd system with low range. Very much a dying breed of 4wds. The aftermarket is really catching up with them now too.

With the Jeep and Landy going IFS in the next few years and the Land Cruiser to be axed soon we wont have a proper solid axle 4WD.

And yes, I know the 968 was a desperate attempt by Porsche to update their 944, and give them a "new" car for minimal outlay, but Lordy, I reckon these 968's, CS especially, looks better and better every year.
The stance is perfect, it looks tensed and ready for thrashing.

Peugeot 406 Coupe is a great shout. Stunning looking car.

I think the Audi S3 from 99-03 is a very tidy, well proportioned car. The S3 kit and wheels really add to it.

I'll actually support the Magna. Compared to the competition it was a very well styled car that actually worked well. Not a great car, but a very well designed one.
