the car was wired up and running in the first 2-3 weeks , they did call as they had run into some dramas .the car was backing every 5th start or so . so i said check the cam sensor as i may not have put it in right , he then called back and said the crank bolt wasnt tight , and they would have to remove radiator to fix it i said thats fine . so at this stage the car was wired up new motor run in, so once these things were done , it only needed oil dropped fuel filters and tune .

they called the wed before i was first suppose to get it and said they couldnt find a fuel filter for the surge tank . not sure how its a 1/2- 1/2 barb barb filter . i told them if they couldnt find one leave it on there or run a piece of hose and i'll fix it , and that was the last time they called me .

Did you get a Wolf wired in? If so then that is your problem.

                Meh.
Mine's been in for a tune since last December.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

You could've sent it over to Campbelltown, got a half-arsed job, and charged twice the quote

                          I'll bite.

What car is this? Who did the new motor and install of such?

Nothing worse for a shop than a guy rolling up, with a multiple person built car, some other guys engine and a PCM supplied by the customer that all it needs is 'oil and a dyno tune'.

Ecu wiring 2 days, get running another day, another few days to sort shit out then a few days for tuning and then add a few more for other things.. I would quote 2 weeks on that job but could blow out to 3 weeks if something didn't go to plan.

I subby out all wiring now, that way I can still do day to day tuning and my wiring guy gets the wiring done at the same time works much better and keeps things rolling along..
