Surely if it's an M5, it's still worth something even if everything is exploded?

If not now, garage it for another few decades?

If it is an M5 the interior will look like this.

Would 99% be a 525 if manual as not many factory 535 e34 around, also rear bar is standard e34 aswell.

I reckon you will have problems putting ls1 into a RHD E30, same issues as e34 with steering box etc. anyway a decent m30 will be better but won't be anything quick, throw decent suspension in it to counteract slow and if possible manual with a decent rear end. Only thing is they are pretty good at snapping camshafts, so I'm guessing the one in the pics would be shagged

Something implies more than zero, so yes technically you are correct. Without the engine (especially if its the later model 3.8l) its only worth something to people who want E34 bits for their project. Guess how many of those guys are kicking about?

3.8L M5 was never officially imported, just 1 or 2 evaluation cars came in, the rest are 3.6L, but agree that is not likely to be either

The only difference is on a RHD car you have the steering linkage and the starter on the same side. Mini starter or conversion frees up more space, change the steering linkage to thinner CV's gives you even more. The motor is shorter than an M20, so it fits in perfectly. Both LHD and RHD have problems with boosters and master cylinders. But there are a bunch of easy ways around that problem.

+1 Unless adding woosh, not much point to going M30. Plenty of E36s around waiting to be lowballed.
