just FYI, have seen more cops on brisbane northside in the last few days/weeks than I have ever seen on the road...

many highway patrol cars / utes as well... have also seen multiple under-cover cars..

In the past week alone have seen 2x undercovers, 1x highway patrol ute, 2x highway patrol car, 3x normal marked car... I dont drive that much

Yeah there must have been orders from the powers that be in the last month or so to start laying the smackdown with the hoon laws, everyone's been getting done in the last few weeks on brisbane southside. They've had a few random defect stations in mount gravatt, usually around midday. Only time ive seen defect stations are around known hoon spots and cruise meets.

I got pulled up the other day in my work ve .. . The copper asked me who I was, where was I going, where I had been and who owned the car ..
I said I'm working mate. It's a company car
No breath test or anything. He took my license to his car for like 2 seconds, came back handed me my license.

The look him and his partner gave me was like he thought I was a drug dealer or something
Must have been pissed when he saw I was squeaky clean.
what I reckon happened is they got sick of waiting at the road works going the other way and u bolted and used me as excuse to drive over the medium strip.

I've been out twice now (in the past month or so) on a drive with 5-7 cars each time and would've passed at least 4 coppers on a combination of bikes/cars and had no issue

I've seen reports of other members of clubs getting pulled over at cafes and stuff, didn't get anything on them, but thoroughly unpleasant still.

going on a drive with probably 50-60+ cars this weekend, hopefully no trouble though hah

Yeah, no point being a prick. More about how best to respond to a "prick off the bat" attitude from the cop. I would be supremely disinclined to answer any question about where I've been, where I'm going if faced with a cockhead.

why? are you a secret agent? the civil liberties/moral victory you'll have in your head is far outweighed by the night you'll spend in the watch house - if they ask what you're doing/where you've been why not just tell them?
