GM is on a roll with its Cadillac range. As good , if not better than the Germans it competes against.

The twin turbo 400hp CTS VSport is a case in point.

Looks good. If this came to Australia and Commodores and Falcons are FWD 4cyl this will have to be the new bogan ride.

I can't imagine much of an aftermarket industry for Kia's though. Is there a Herrod or Harrop level company in Seoul? I'm in Korea right now & frankly the only loud exhausts have been on AMG's & M3's
Jaguar XJR, Freelander 2 HSE, Jaguar XKR, MINI Cooper S

They probably can, because they'll sell them worldwide unrestrained by having other US-designed cars from the same company to avoid competing with.

So as per usual everyone else is on the ball but you're living in fairyland.

                  Good work champ.

(To be honest I'm surprised all you left us with was a two word answer instead of the long winded vitriolic bullshit about aliens and Alfas or whatever you normally spam PF with, so kudos I guess for sparing us this time)

P.S. I like it, lots. Any word on what the drivetrain is capable of seeing as it most likely a copy of something that currently works very well? (Benz, Nissan, Ford, etc)

I'd like to see this in person, rather than taking the word of a US car magazine.
It's really hard to accept, given that the most recent American things I've seen were a Holden Suburb, and one of those early-noughties AU$100k Rustangs which made an AU Forte look like it was carved from a piece of German billet steel ... I mean it could be true, no problem with it being true, but I really need to poke at one to believe it.
I guess when they kill Commode, we may see some.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

                        You can't be serious???

A modern Kia/Hyundai has better features and build quality than any BMW made in that year!

You would do BMW proud if you were to put their badge on a late model Kia.

All the late model BMW's I have worked on lately really show the efforts in cost cutting.

Kia/Hyundai on the other hand have no such cost cutting measures on their chassis and suspension design on all their late model stuff.

Their doors close with a nice thud, and the interiors don't feel half as cheap as all the base model eurotrash and US Jeep,Chrysler,Dodge crap etc

I think of it in terms of Nokia and Samsung in reagrds to respective vehicles and their country of origin.

I think they got the rear end spot on. Front is a bit too Jag for me but looks pretty good overall.

I saw some new Holden girly truck thing this morning, made me vomit a little. Ugly as sin.

Make it cost $60,316, throw in a 5 year unlimited km warranty and I'll buy 25 of them tomorrow.

I'd badge it and dispose of the fleet of Holdens immediately. That is a good looking car, at what I hope would be a good price and virtually noone would notice it's not euro.

When are the Lexus ES Hybrids out? Want to see if they are worth the fuss as well.
