Here's a rough list of details about this rod.
It was registered as a 2008 build 1931 Ford Improved Model A tourer. Apparently it is called a Vicky Back, if that means anything to you because it certainly doesn't to me! The chassis is a replica built mainly from 100 x 50 RHS and tube. The body is glass and has a 90 mm channel, so only 10 mm of the chassis is visible from the side. The chassis is longer than normal in the front as it was designed for a six cylinder. The original plan was apparently to run either a 1JZ/2JZ or an RB25 to piss off the old school rodders.
The front end is a 51" wide I-beam with adjustable stainless steel 4 bars. The steering uses a VW column and a Camira centre pull rack. The stub axles are from a 1930's truck. The front brakes are EB Falcon discs with VR-VS calipers.
The rear end is an 8.5" EB Falcon ute diff with a coil over four bar set up. It has an LSD and drum brakes. The stud pattern is Ford. Apparently those wheels are off a Skyline?
All of the parts are still there with the possible exception of the 12" headlights. According to Brent he thinks his old man may have "fingered" it a few times in trying to fit the VS Commodore engine and box, but there's nothing too bad.
He has the moulds for the body, and says he can do a hard top for it. The body can also incorporate back seats as he has a tank that will fit under the floor so the rear seats can be then fitted.
He thought that pretty much any engine would fit however he felt that the chassis rails were a little closer together so a V8 might sit a little high.
I'm probably going out there on Saturday so I'll have a closer look at it then. Can I wear the Scream mask? The mask from Scream... when I do you from behind...

a slant 6 chrysler would look period, fit under bonnet (well the top anyways) then you could hang the intake and carb out the side :DOriginally posted by Mr Jones View PostAn engine with a vintage look with some swept back pipes to emphasize the long low look would make it cool. The six is too tall. A bonnet would also fix this.Originally posted by Rdyno70ynu has to be the most retarded cunt here. A Vicky back would mean the original mold would of been done off a Vicky sort of like a Tudor with a hump on the back, then cut the roof off

I would make more enquires about getting rego back on it, i know in NSW that certain things can no longer be done, and if you let rego lapse more than 3 months you cant get it registered again legally.Originally posted by 6000SUX View PostIt was registered as a 2008 build 1931 Ford Improved Model A tourer. .you cant spell advertisements without semen between the tits

Sad circumstances Mr 6000, but it could be a quick and relatively pain free project.
BUT I'd be checking on how/if/when it could be rego'd again.
+1 for steelies and a Chev 350/350 combo and cruise it till it stops.Originally posted by Stix Zi'm upset i lost that video of that aboriginal woman taking a dump on a train that was on youtubeOriginally posted by JimSorry, am late to this thread.
