Can you wait for the 2014 Kia Soul?
Juke has only been out in oz for like 2-3 months, if that.

For the mrs its going to be an auto, she can drive a manual, but she will want the auto.

As for the new soul, yeah, nah... its ok, but im not thinking the korean badge will go down with her

i dont think anyone cares that its been out for years overseas because how they drive isnt critical to them selling

i think they're all ok cars in the end but moreso under the $25k line, over $30k one wonders why?

Have a look at the interior, there's more cheap plastic than a tuperware party... and its a very tacky colour

Ooop I should have said Clio Sport not Megane. Good motor though. The R model with the GT-R motor must be a beast.

Think we need pics of your Mrs first before deciding wether the Juke will be suitable for her requirements.

Purchasing chick I know at a large local dealership says they're shifting even less Dukes than new enormo-V8-petrol-only-Patrols. I can see why. Hardly a Class contender.

its still early yet but i think this is a sign that australia isnt europe as far as tastes go

its well known the Juke sold out for months on release overseas

Isn't the absolute top of the range model available with turbo and that hideous CVT? = 35k+ On road. You can get a Renault Clio RS200 EDC (same engine) on road for less. What's the world coming to?

Forgive me if my memory is poor, but wasn't the problem with shifting the Tiida here that it was ugly?

It had a dual problem; it made a Vitara feel sophisticated to drive, and it was ugly.
Juke is considered more "funky" than "ugly" by non-conservatives, though, whole different bucket of unattractivess.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.
