Fark, no wonder they had issues. Only a month to build the thing, I heard it was a last minute decision to run but in the context of the event and who Larson is I thought that meant 6 months out!

Wasn't a month..
"“The truck” as we have called it for the past 10 months, actually started on January 5th with the purchase of a 1998 S10."
From this article posted in page 1, I can imagine the last month was a mad rush of actually putting the finished unit together, I and I'm sure many others have been there a few times.

Jacobsons vr38dett toned down a little in a chopped up live axle s13, running on all 6cyl.Originally posted by BosshoggettIf your planing to drive this on the road and enjoy it, id suggest a second opinion, someone with a history in Australian Rally or Fink River . If your just playing dyno comps. Then ok

dream car Ford 5.4 Modular alloy block out of GT Supercar in a fox body Mustang or even something from 1999 up. twin Precision 6466 turbo's pump out a nice easy 1500-1600hp and cruise the cunt all day n night. Supra 2JZ would need NOS to spool a decent size turbo unsure if NOS allowed with another form of forced induction.

Given a reasonable budget I would build my '68 Valiant wagon into a twin turbo EFI big block cruiser and dress it up like a '68 Dart. The Yank would recognize the front but be like "WTF!" on the wagon part because they never had '68 Dart Wagons over there. Something Aussie but not so unusual that they wouldn't get it.Originally posted by ALLMTR View PostHe also comes back out at 6:03 and nearly tags the wall

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to take my Bluebird. Get it running consistent reliable 9's and tour the country. I just dont have a lazy 30k to make it happen.Originally posted by ALLMTR View PostPop quiz: if you could build and take a car from here to the US drag week, what would you build???

"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."
